Adele, famous for her iconic songs such as “Rolling in the Deep,” was almost unrecognizable after taking a photo-shoot with her friends in California on Halloween. Dressed in a leopard-print clad themed after Captain Hook, she posed with some fellow partygoers, including Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad, boasting her new look and showing off her tiny curves.
In recent months, she revealed that her weight loss method consisted of a combination of different techniques, one of them being reformer pilates, a mixture of classic pilates, and machine workouts. Aimed to improve posture and balance, Speaking to the Sun, who is a close friend of Adele, said, “She has been loving her new workout regime, and it really works for her. It’s a bonus that she has shifted some weight. Her mates are glad she’s letting loose, and there’s nothing but good feelings towards her. She’s got a new lease on life.”
Among other techniques, The Sirtfood Diet, which encourages people who wish to diet to eat plant foods, such as kale and buckwheat. These kinds of foods are known to be sirtuin activators, suppressing appetite, and protect cells in the body from inflammation, aging, and low metabolism. Jow wicks workout videos have also been a massive help for her, as she has been increasing training at home with these high-intensity workouts, and also uses a personal trainer, Dalton Wong, for getting into shape for her roles.
One of the most surprising methods she’s used to losing weight is discarding tea! According to reports from The Sun, Adele admitted that she would drink about ten cups of tea a day with two sugars in each, which meant she was drinking twenty sugars a day over the recommended daily allowance.
While Adele isn’t the biggest fan of the gym, she does focus on weight lifting, no matter how much she hates the way she looks.
“I do like doing weights. I don’t like looking in the mirror,” said Adele to the Rolling Stones in 2016. “Blood vessels burst on my face really easily, so I’m so conscious when I’m lifting weights not to let them burst in my face. And if I don’t tour, you’ll catch me back down at the Chinese!”
Adele’s Halloween pictures showing off her complete transformation come after she split from her husband Simon Konecki in April 2019. The couple had a six-year-old son together and have reportedly agreed to joint custody. Nevertheless, she focuses on happiness as the first life mantra in her life and looks like a second priority.
“I think no matter what you look like, the key is to, first of all, be happy with yourself,” said Adele to The Sun. “And then you know if you want to try to improve things that you don’t like about yourself, then do it after you appreciate yourself.”
